Privacy policy.
Rest.Set. is operated by Saverio Rollo, an Australian sole trader. For privacy questions or requests, email support@restset.app. This policy covers the Rest.Set. Android and iPhone apps and this support website. Features and stored information vary by app version; older timer-only versions do not contain workout logs.
Information stored by the app
The app stores the information you enter to provide its features: workout names and plans, custom exercise names and mappings, sets, repetitions, durations, weights, rest periods, training history and timer settings. It uses this information to display your workouts, run sessions, show muscle emphasis and review past results.
No Rest.Set. account is required. The current apps have no advertising, analytics or tracking SDKs and do not send your training records to us or to an app-operated cloud service. We do not sell your personal information.
Device backups and transfers
Your operating system may back up or transfer app data according to your device and account settings. On Android, saved workouts may be included in Android backup or device transfer; temporary quick-timer, interval-timer and alarm state is excluded. Apple device backups may also include local app data. These are operating-system services, not Rest.Set. cloud sync, and we do not operate or access those backups.
Permissions and alerts
On Android, optional notification and Alarms & reminders permissions support timer alerts. They do not give Rest.Set. access to contacts, location, camera, microphone or Health Connect information. The current apps do not connect to Health Connect or Apple Health to import health records. Timer sound and alert behaviour depends on your device settings.
Retention and deletion of workout records
Local data remains until you remove it or delete the app’s local storage. Removing a workout plan does not delete its separate historical session records. To remove all local records, clear Rest.Set.’s storage in Android settings, or delete the iPhone app rather than offloading it. These actions remove local training data and may be irreversible. There is no built-in workout export in the current version.
Manage cloud/device backups separately through the relevant operating-system provider. Restoring a backup may restore saved records. Since we do not receive your workout data, we cannot remotely retrieve, correct or delete it for you.
Website visits
This website provides instructions, support information and this policy. It contains no advertising, analytics scripts, embedded social widgets or externally hosted fonts. It does not ask you to upload workouts or create an account.
Hosting and delivery providers process ordinary connection information, such as IP address, requested pages, browser details and timestamps, to deliver the website, maintain security and diagnose problems. Retention of those technical records is governed by the relevant provider’s policies. Our production website is hosted and delivered through Cloudflare. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy for information about its processing. Cloudflare may use security cookies where its protection features require them; the website itself does not add tracking cookies.
Support emails
If you email support@restset.app, we receive your email address, message and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond to your request and resolve support issues. Your email provider and our email-service provider process the messages to deliver and store them. Please avoid sending passwords, payment information or medical records.
We retain support messages while resolving the request, then delete them within 12 months of resolution unless retention is necessary to meet legal obligations. You may request earlier deletion by emailing the same address. Provider backup copies may remain temporarily under the provider’s retention processes.
Sharing, security and international processing
Support communications and website connection data may be processed by hosting and email providers in countries outside Australia. We use service providers to operate support and the website, and may disclose information where required by law. We do not provide your local workout records to those providers through the app.
The apps use the operating system’s app storage protections. Protect your device and backups with appropriate security settings. Website connections use HTTPS when hosted with HTTPS enabled. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your choices and requests
You can manage local records and operating-system permissions on your device. Contact support@restset.app to ask about, access, correct or request deletion of information you have sent us, or to raise a privacy concern. We may need to verify that a request comes from the relevant person. Rights and any legal retention exceptions depend on applicable law.
Children
The app does not ask for age or date of birth and does not send workout records to us. If a child has supplied personal information in a support message, a parent or guardian can contact us to request its deletion. This statement does not replace appropriate supervision or exercise-safety advice.
Changes
We will update this policy if our data practices change, including before introducing cloud features, analytics or paid-service features that involve additional personal information. The effective date above identifies the current policy.
